2010 Mark Provincial Senior Warden To Steer the Preston Ark for the next Year

 
Members of Preston Royal Ark Mariner Lodge No 143 were delighted to welcome W. Bro Stuart Brackstone
RAMGR representing the Provincial Grand Master, for the installation ceremony of Bro. Eric Picton. Who held
the rank of Provincial Senior Warden in 2010. Eric is also a Past Master of Preston Mark lodge. No 143  
   
 
In an excellent ceremony by the retiring Commander
W. Bro. John Sarti. Bro. Eric was well and truly
Installed.    The D.C. W. Bro. Philip Watson then
faultlessly gave the address to the new Commander.
 
W.Bro Brackstone then brought the greetings of the
Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master. He then
kindly presented and explained the Grand Lodge
Certificate to the Lodges newest member Bro George
Roberts.

The Lodge was also pleased to welcome W. Bro. Paul
Snape the special representative of the P.G.M. Who
was accompanied by no less than 7 other Grand
Officers.

Bro. Eric’s personal guests included W. Bro. David
Rotheram who as Provincial Junior warden in 2010,
spent many happy hours together, and became good
friends.
 
A good festive board was then enjoyed with
humorous speeches from both W. Bro Brackstone
and our new Commander.
 
To finish the night a Westhoughton Swindle (Raffle)
Apologies to Westhoughton  masons.  Was conducted
by our new Senior Warden Bro. Ken Roulston. Which
raised the magnificent sum of £90
 
A most gratifying end to a superb evening
